what is a doula?
A full spectrum community doula & birth attendant provides comprehensive care to individuals through all reproductive experiences. Doulas offer emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual support, and can hold space for prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and lactation. A doula's presence alone can offer comfort, reassurance, and encouragement throughout labor and delivery process.
A doula may also act as an advocate for a birthing person, helping to communicate their preferences and birth plan to the medical team. And as if they couldn't get better, doulas are trained in various comfort measures, such as breathing techniques, massage, and positioning. ​

Compassionate care and embodied advocacy are a staple to the full spectrum doula care I offer. My commitment is to show up for each family with presence and the desire to listen & know the unique wishes of the birthing person.
As a white identifying/presenting person, using my privilege to effectively advocate in hospital settings for BIPOC birthing folks feels paramount to my practice.

includes two prenatal visits (1.5 hour each)

~ unlimited communication support and on-call starting at 37 weeks until birth

~ one postpartum visit (2 hours)

~ on-call photographer starting at 37 weeks until birth
~ photos of labor, birth, and up to 2 hours after baby's arrival
~ 50-150 professionally edited photos, viewable online gallery

~ add video for an additional $444

postpartum care: $25-$45/hour
from cooking intentional & nutritious meals and cleaning, to providing emotional support and running errands, postpartum visits are personalized to meet the unique needs of each family
